HSRC launches search for new chief executive, and more news from the last week

South Africa’s Human Sciences Research Council announced on 1 May that it is scouting for a CEO. The HSRC’s top job is awarded for a maximum of two five-year terms. Crain Soudien has held the post since 2015. Applicants must have a relevant PhD and 10 years’ executive-level experience.
