Second phase of African granting council support initiative launched

Programme will encompass ethics, open science and online grants management

The Science Granting Councils Initiative—which helps African research funding bodies improve their grant management abilities—has been extended to run until 2023.

The SGCI was launched in 2015 by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development, Canada’s International Development Research Centre, and South Africa’s National Research Foundation to support grant-making bodies in 15 African countries.
