Fluctuations impede researchers’ ability to plan and budget, says report
Agriculture research funding in Africa is highly volatile, a research indicator index has warned.
The Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators found that agriculture research spending was stable only in South Africa and Kenya among the 36 sub-Saharan African countries it examined between 2000 and 2016.
