Molecular tests to be offered at “fraction of cost” of sending samples abroad
The Nigeria-based genomics and health technology company 54gene has launched a molecular diagnostics arm with collection centres in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt.
The company launched 7RiversLabs (7RL) on 14 December, hoping to open collection centres in 10 more Nigerian cities over the coming months, and to expand into the rest of Africa in 2022.
