Africa CDC director stays for second term

John Nkengasong, Covid-19 response stalwart, to remain in post another four years

The inaugural director of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, John Nkengasong, has had his term renewed for another four years. 

The decision, made by the Africa CDC board in February, was posted on the organisation’s website on 29 March.
