Funds will establish manufacturing hubs in ‘high potential’ countries
The European Commission has announced an initiative that will see European funders invest €1 billion (US$1.2bn) into vaccine and medicine manufacturing in Africa.
Ursula von der Leyen, the EC president, announced the initiative during the G20 Global Health Summit on 21 May.
