Women’s representation in academies inches upwards

But progress is slow and action insufficient, report says

The proportion of women members of academies worldwide has inched upward in the last five years, rising from an average of 13 per cent in 2015 to 16 per cent in 2016, a report has shown.

However, the pace of change is slow, and individual academies need to move faster in promoting women members and leaders, the report warns.
