Kemri will recruit graduates and postdocs to cut dependency on foreign assistance
The Kenya Medical Research Institute has received funding from the country’s government to establish a training hub for the manufacture of vaccines and other medical products.
Kemri will use the 100 million Kenyan shilling (US$740,000) investment announced on 24 April to recruit graduates to the training programme. The training will take place at Kemri’s own labs as well as at companies in Europe, Korea and Japan, the institute said.
