
Global Fund and partners invest US$54 million in disease diagnostics in developing countries
Global health funders have invested US$54 million in a scheme to help laboratories in low- and middle-income countries fight existing and emerging pandemics.
The Laboratory Systems Integration Fund was launched on 25 May and is backed by the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Abbott Fund, the Rockefeller Foundation, the clinical research services company Iqvia and the fundraising body Red.
