Kenya teams up with Brazil on microbiology

Universities in Kenya and Brazil will collaborate in microbiology research under an agreement signed in Nairobi on 12 March.

The agreement commits the National Museums of Kenya and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro to conduct staff and student exchanges. This will allow Kenyans to use hi-tech equipment in Brazil.

Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology and the University of Nairobi will participate in the programme.
