Studies will focus on genetic diversity and treatments for TB and malaria
The South African Medical Research Council will collaborate with two international pharmaceutical companies in studying African genetic diversity as it applies to malaria and tuberculosis drugs.
The partnership between GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis and the SAMRC was announced on 19 January.
