CA$170 million fund will support research on adapting to global heating

A partnership between the United Kingdom and Canada was launched this week at the climate summit in Scotland to support climate adaptation and resilience in developing countries.

The CA$170 million (US$136m) Climate Adaptation and Resilience partnership will run for five years initially, and support action-oriented research on adaptation. It will also build capacity to make communities more resilient and address knowledge gaps.
