Ethiopia and South Africa forge science pact

    

Agreement to target research collaboration and joint training and mobility programmes

Ethiopia and South Africa signed a memorandum of understanding on science and technology collaboration on 9 September.

South African science minister Blaze Nzimande said the agreement will allow the countries to set up joint training and mobility programmes and collaborate on disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence.
