Partnerships with Belgian region will focus on sustainable development and data science
An agreement signed this week between South Africa’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and its counterpart in Belgium’s Flanders region, VITO, will strengthen science and innovation links between the two countries.
South Africa’s science minister Blade Nzimande welcomed the agreement on 5 April, when he toured the CSIR’s renewable energy research laboratories in Pretoria with Flemish minister-president Jan Jambon.
