NIH seeks input on equity in global health research

   

Agency “committed” responses will feed into future funding practices and policies

The world’s biggest medical science funder is asking for input on how to root out inequality in health research, especially collaborations involving low- and middle-income countries. 

The National Institutes of Health in the United States wants stakeholders to supply it with “ideas and specific actions” to consider in its research funding, priority setting and administrative practices.
