UN hosts African science, innovation day in New York

               

Continent is undergoing “unprecedented economic, social and cultural transformation”

The United Nations hosted its first African science, technology and innovation day in New York this week on the sidelines of a global sustainable development meeting.

The Science, Technology and Innovation in Africa Day took place at the UN headquarters on 2 May. It aims to connect the global community to advance Africa’s science for sustainable development priorities and bring the continent’s priorities to a global forum.
