Maths institute offers postdoc funding

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences near Cape Town, South Africa, is offering postdoctoral fellowships to candidates from the Southern African Development Community.

The two-year fellowships will focus on projects applying mathematics to biology, finance, astrophysics and cosmology, although other areas will be considered too.

The fellowships are available immediately and can be extended for a third year. Successful candidates will conduct research, mentor students and be involved in the general AIMS programmes.
