A South African project that promotes research collaboration with Europe has opened a call for mobility grants aiming to ‘pair up’ researchers on the two continents.
The European South African Science and Technology Advancement Programme’s (ESASTAP) twinning call seeks to establish partnerships that could act as springboards for large grant applications to Horizon 2020, the EU’s research funding programme.
The target group for the call is research institutions, universities and small-to-medium enterprises in Europe and South Africa. The twinning grants target the fields of marine science, raw materials, mining and mineral research.
