NEPAD bigwig to head University of Zambia

Luke Mumba was installed as vice-chancellor of the University of Zambia on 1 July.

Mumba has held a number of positions at the New Partnership for Africa’s Development programme, including steering the African Science and Technology Indicators Initiative.

Before that he was the inaugural director of the Southern Africa Network for Biosciences.
