Young scientists in South Africa can apply for support to attend an annual meeting billed as the largest gathering of Nobel prizewinners outside the yearly award ceremony.
The Academy of Science of South Africa and the Department of Science and Technology will send five masters and five postdoctoral students to the 2017 Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting in Germany on 25-30 June 2017.
The 2017 meeting will focus on chemistry so nominees must be active in the broad discipline to qualify.
