The science funding agencies of Namibia and Mozambique have agreed to collaborate on joint funding programmes.
Namibia’s National Commission on Research, Science and Technology and Mozambique’s Fundo Nacional de Investigacão signed the deal on 15 September in Windhoek.
Areas eligible for joint funding are agriculture, biotechnology, energy, tourism, infrastructure, ICT, indigenous knowledge, botany, climate change, social sciences and humanities, health, education and minerals.
