SA universities to begin 2021 academic year in March

But end dates for current academic year will differ substantially

All South Africa’s 26 universities will begin the 2021 academic year in March, the head of Universities South Africa, the higher education umbrella body, has said. 

However, their end dates for the current academic year will differ wildly, Ahmed Bawa told Parliament’s portfolio committee on higher education on 23 October.
