Nzimande gives date for South Africa’s 10-year science blueprint

Plan for implementation of 2019 White Paper promised by April 2021

The due date for South Africa’s long-awaited implementation plan for its national science, technology and innovation policy has been announced.

Blade Nzimande, the minister of higher education, science, and technology, said on 10 November that the first decadal plan for the White Paper on science, published last year, will be completed by the end of March 2021.
