Restrictive legislation keeps Zambia out of genomics research

Researchers call for more flexible regulation that adapts to changes in research practice

Genomics researchers in Zambia may lose out on potentially beneficial international research partnerships because of restrictive local laws, a journal paper has warned.

The paper was published on 24 July on the African Academy of Science’s Open Research platform. It is yet to be peer reviewed.
