The University of the Witwatersrand has launched a surgical skills training lab.
The university officially opened the R22 million (US$1.5m) Wits Advanced Surgical Skills Lab on 12 October. It will provide interdisciplinary training in advanced surgical disciplines including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, neurology, and cardiothoracics.
