Fresh insights into risks linked to illness and death will help “reimagine” SAMRC structure

South Africa needs to invest in research on health promotion and disease prevention, its medical research council has said.

The message from the South African Medical Research Council comes alongside a 5 October study outlining the risk factors associated with disease and death in the country.
