MPs berate DHET for failing to bring bad performers to account
South Africa’s Department of Higher Education hit only half its targets in the second quarter of 2021, and only a fifth in quarter three, MPs have heard.
Officials briefed Parliament’s portfolio committee on higher education, science and technology on 4 March on their performance and audits for the second and third quarters, which ran to the end of September 2021.
