First five winners of SA-Ireland tech challenge tour focus on climate and medical technology

The South African Department of Science and Innovation, its Technology Innovation Agency and Ireland’s South Africa embassy have selected five South African technology start-ups to participate in the first Irish Tech Challenge South Africa tour.

The challenge was launched in February 2022 to create partnerships between Irish tech expertise and South African tech entrepreneurs. The DSI said it will support innovation, technology development, and technology deployment and commercialisation in South Africa.
