Promotion for Pontsho Maruping, current head of operations and business processes
The National Research Foundation in South Africa has appointed Pontsho Maruping as managing director of the South African Radio Astronomy Observatory.
Maruping is currently SARAO’s deputy managing director for operations and business processes. She will take over from long-serving Rob Adam on 1 October, the NRF announced on 7 September.
