University of South Africa says it will challenge “premature” appointment in court
South Africa’s minister of higher education, science and innovation has appointed Ihron Rensburg as the administrator for the University of South Africa, and dissolved the institution’s council.
Unisa immediately disputed the validity and timing of the appointment and questioned its legality.
