Glenda Gray and Richard Cowling awarded learned body’s top accolade

HIV expert Glenda Gray and plant ecologist Richard Cowling are the recipients of the Academy of Science of South Africa’s top accolades this year.

The pair received the academy’s Gold Medal for “outstanding achievements in scientific thinking to the benefit of society” at a 9 November ceremony.
