Governing council sets out plans to address governance failures following scathing report

The University of Cape Town’s governing council has plans to address recent failures at the institution, following a scathing report on its governance and a huge row with the institution’s former head.

An investigation panel led by judge Lex Mpati investigated governance at the institution from 2018 to 2022 and issued a set of recommendations earlier this month.
