Mandela University announces chair in automotive engineering

              

Car industry expected to benefit from post’s research outputs

The Nelson Mandela University in South Africa has received ZAR14 million from industry for a new research chair in automotive engineering, which can also support postgraduates.

The post will be housed in the Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology for an initial three-year period, using funding from the Automotive Industry Development Centre Eastern Cape (AIDC-EC).
