Graduate numbers growing faster than economy can absorb them, warns research council head

The number of unemployed graduates in South Africa is of growing concern, the head of the Human Sciences Research Council in South Africa has warned.

Sarah Mosoetsa expressed her concerns during a meeting of the country’s parliamentary committee on higher education, science and technology, which took place on 2 June—at the start of Youth Month.
