Biotech giant Merck has created an office in Côte d'Ivoire to serve as a hub for its business activities in francophone Africa.
The hub was launched at the third Merck Africa Luminary event, which took place in Abidjan on 18 October.
“Our partnership with Merck that we are launching today will build capacity for healthcare professionals and help to improve health management and facilitate access to existing and future healthcare solutions in Ivory Coast and also in Africa,” said the country’s first lady, Dominique Ouattara.
