Ghartey Ampiah, a science education specialist, has been sworn in as vice-chancellor of the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.
Ampiah was inducted on 29 October. He takes over from Domwini Dabire Kuupole.
The Ghana News Agency quoted Ampiah as saying that he will aim to promote digital activities and boost research capacity as well as the dissemination of research results.
