Nigeria and UAE plans bilateral education agreement

Nigeria and the United Arab Emirate are negotiating a bilateral agreement on education involving scholarships, staff and student exchanges, and administrative capacity building.

Talks were held on 15 July when the UAE ambassador to Nigeria, Mahmood Mohammed Mahmood, visited education minister Adamu Adamu’s office in Abuja.

Adamu said In a statement that the bilateral agreement will be the country’s first with the Middle Eastern nation.
