The Nigerian Federal Institute of Industrial Research in Lagos State wants to transfer its technologies to small agricultural businesses in the country with the aim of commercialising them.
The director-general of the institute, Gloria Elemo, said that the institute has developed over 350 technologies, but has faced a challenge in transferring them to enterprises.
“Commercialisation is not easy. It requires a lot of money”, she told the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in Lagos on 17 August.
