Nteranya Sanginga will serve another five-year term at the helm of the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, its board decided last week.
A second term will aid ongoing research projects, the board said. Sanginga’s next term will begin on 1 November.
Bruce Coulman, chairman of the IITA’s board of trustees, said Sanginga had totally transformed IITA’s science capacity in his five years of leadership.
