A former head of Nigeria's National Universities Commission has bemoaned the lack of practical training in university courses.
“The present curriculum is too weak in providing exposure to practical experiences. There are too many theoretical and too few practical courses,” said Peter Okebukola.
He was speaking at a meeting organised by the NUC for vice-chancellors in Abuja on 3 May.
