The University of Ghana has received a donation of GH¢100,000 (US$22,000) from Phoenix Insurance as part of the financial institution’s corporate social responsibility activities.
The money was formally handed over on 10 January. It is a part payment of GH¢250,000 that the company has promised to submit to the University of Ghana Endowment Fund.
As reported by local news platform Modern Ghana, the reminder of the payment will be presented by mid-2018.
