The New Zealand Department of Conservation requests tenders for its New Zealand sea lions demographic assessment of the cause of decline at the Auckland Islands call.

The tenderer will conduct data analyses to address two components: to identify which demographic parameters are the key drivers of the observed population, and to identify potential demographic mechanisms through which effects of fishing can impact on the population level of these sea lions or increase the susceptibility of the population to such effects.
