Nuclear agency signs China collaboration deal

The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation has formally signed up to collaborate with the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics in December under the auspices of the Australia-China Science and Research Fund.

The deal will lead to the establishment of the ANSTO-SINAP Joint Materials Research Centre, one of six research centres being set up through the fund.

The two partners have agreed to providing postgraduate and postdoctoral training and to hold regular workshops.
