Indonesian government seeks stronger ties with UTS

The University of Technology Sydney has signed a “new generation” research deal that will increase postgraduate enrolments from Indonesia.

The UTS partnership with the Indonesian government’s Endowment Fund for Education is part of an education agreement negotiated during the 2015 Indonesia Australia Business Week in early December.

A delegation of more than 360 people, including federal government ministers, business leaders and members of the Australian Technology Network of universities, travelled to Jakarta for talks on strengthening trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.
