QUT signs deals with nine Filipino universities

Queensland University of Technology has signed partnership deals with nine universities in the Philippines that will focus chiefly on teacher training and education management courses.

The agreements were signed by QUT vice-chancellor Peter Coaldrake on 4 March, during a visit to meet government officials in the Philippines capital Manila.

The nine universities are the University of the Philippines, University of the East, University of Santo Tomas, De La Salle University, Philippine Normal University, University of Southeastern Philippines, University of San Carlos, University of Mindanao, and Mindanao State University.
