UniSyd opens science and research centre in China

The University of Sydney has launched its first overseas teaching and research campus at Suzhou, a major city in the Yangtze basin in China’s Jiangsu province.

The UniSyd science and innovation centre is located at the Suzhou industrial park, a modern business precinct that also hosts the Chinese campus of the University of Liverpool.

Suzhou has a population of around 10 million, and is China’s second largest manufacturing city.
