Deakin and Zhengzhou to form medical team

Medical students at Deakin University in regional Victoria will gain clinical experience at some of Chinese biggest hospitals as part of a deal with Zhengzhou University

The agreement will also increase medical research collaboration between the two universities, particularly in cancer treatments and development of cancer drugs.

Announcing the initiative, Deakin medical school professor Wei Duan said it will include a joint laboratory for translational medicine and several collaborative cancer research programmes. It will also involve exchange programmes for medical students from both countries.
