MoMA design guru to join Sydney panel

Paola Antonelli, director of research at the Museum of Modern Art in New York will join a panel of experts in Sydney to discuss the future of creativity.

Italian-born Antonelli was recently ranked among the 100 most powerful people in the world of contemporary art by British magazine ArtReview. She joined MoMA in 1994, becoming senior curator of architecture and design. She has also lectured in design theory at Harvard University and co-ordinated cultural discussions at the World Economic Forum. 

She will be one of the speakers at the University of  Technology Sydney’s Shapeshifters public panel discussion on 4 December. The discussion, titled Creative Futures, will look at how the internet is shaping innovation in a world where “hyper-speed is the new normal”.
