National policy role for marine scientists

The Australian Fisheries Management Authority is seeking applications from marine scientists for posts on three federal policy advisory committees.

The AFMA committees are the Northern Prawn Fishery Management Advisory Committee, Sub-Antarctic Management Advisory Committee and the Tropical Tuna Management Advisory Committee.

The committees are statutory bodies that provide AFMA with management advice, including scientific information on status of fish stocks and environment impacts of commercial and recreational fishing.
