The federal government has selected 22 “high merit” projects to advance to the next assessment stage of its $100 million competition for large-scale solar photovoltaic projects
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency chose the shortlist from 77 proposals submitted in 2015 by national and global energy companies operating across the country.
The list includes plans for Australia’s biggest solar farm to be built in the Darling Downs region of Queensland and a $550 million project developed by local councils in northern Victoria.
